Tokyo
08th December 2010, in editorial (1 Comments)
As much as I relish my little Santa Monica enclave, I have getting the travel itch again lately, and with thoughts of a trip to Tokyo this coming spring, I decided to revive some Mamiya RZ shots I took from my last visit in 2007.
Like everyone else, I fell in love with the city and its energy, subculture, quirkiness, and sense of order, imagining what it would be like to live there. Although at times I questioned my decision to haul the RZ with me while navigating the winding streets, eating at narrow cafes, and maneuvering the racks at mini-boutiques, in retrospect, it was more than worth the weight.

Such beautiful imagery that capture truly vibrant and diverse intra-cultural landscapes within a 24/7 metropolis.
The camera was certainly worth lugging around before sunrise, but the credit goes to the eye.
Lovely work Natasha.
